Personal:

Nathan and his wife, Melissa, are lifelong Bellingham residents. They have two children Kayleigh (3) and Judah (born in January 2009). Nathan has a passion for leading music at both the contemporary and classic services. He enjoys working with the musicians and vocalists each week to prepare dynamic worship that helps people focus on God and allows them to draw near to Him in worship and praise.
 

 

High School Lead
Will Hicks
Personal:
Will has five years experience leading youth groups, including a year internship. He is gifted in the area of building leadership skills in youth, with a focus on worship and discipleship. Will considers it a blessing to have the opportunity to work with the youth – it’s his chance to give back to a ministry that was so instrumental in his own salvation. In July of 2001 he decided to stop living for himself and asked God to save him. Will loves to play worship music and enjoys learning new instruments. He is happily married to his wife, Lindsay. No children yet, just a pet cat.

Children’s Ministry Lead
Cathy Paxton
Cathy’s desire is to teach children about God and His plan of salvation through Jesus Christ. Before taking on the Children’s Ministry Lead position she served as the Discipleship/Education Coordinator for two years. Cathy’s education includes a certificate in Secondary Education Science (Chemistry) at Western Washington University and she also has a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from the University of Washington. Along with her duties as CM Lead here at Northwest she also works as a Medical Technologist at PeaceHealth St. Joseph’s Medical Center.
